I would say without liner I kept it on for about an hour before it looked awful. It didn’t hold up to eating (rice, beans and salad) and left lip marks on my glass. I wish I could give an accurate description of longevity but when I wore Limbo I always ended wiping it off after it faded in a way I can only describe as poop. It also was incredibly challenging to get the color off my teeth. It did dry pretty unevenly though, but this could be remedied with spot coating. Like… no one wants crooked lines and fading edges.Īfter dry down, I was left with a powdery but really unnoticeable feeling on the lips. It was challenging to get good lines with this color, which I found super duper annoying. There was major feathering and the edges couldn’t be controlled no matter how hard I tried. It was a very thin formula and bled on impact, with or without a liner.

The application was probably my least favorite thus far. The color also darkens dramatically after dry down and is even darker when using the recommended Pitch lip pencil. However, I found that Limbo pulled more red and was warmer than True Brown K, but its still a beautiful color. I was especially excited to try Limbo as it’s rumored to be a dupe for Kylie’s True Brown K liquid lipstick. It’s just personal preference, but I hope it floats your boat!Ĭolourpop promises the consumer that they’ll “be bending over backwards for this deep chocolate brown” when wearing their Ultra Matte lip color in Limbo.
